KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – On Tuesday, it was announced that Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs and the Knox County Parks and Recreation Department will unveil new renovations to the Concord Park Par 3 Golf Course during a reopening celebration.
The event is set for Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 3 p.m. and is open to the public. The course is located at 10909 S. Northshore Dr. in Knoxville.
Among the renovations are new turf and putting greens that were designed to smooth the quality of the golfing experience.
“Over the last few years, our golf programs have grown by leaps and bounds,” said Joe Mack, senior director of the Knox County Parks and Recreation Department. “We are providing recreational golf opportunities to more people than ever, and the improvements we have made at Concord Park Golf Course will make those experiences even better.”
