The Colorado State men’s basketball team went through an up-and-down nonconference slate, but the season in some ways starts over now with conference play beginning.
A tough test is first up for the Rams with a trip to Nevada.

Saturday’s game between Colorado State and Nevada will begin at 2 p.m. PT/3 p.m. MT.
The game is not available on linear TV and can only be streamed online via the Mountain West Network.

CSU is 6-5 and coming off a win over Radford. Nevada is 8-3 and coming off a win over Texas Southern.
It’s the first Mountain West game for each team.
No betting line has been set.
CSU is led by Niko Medved, who is in his seventh season as head coach of the Rams. He’s 123-80 at CSU and 202-167 overall in his career. Steve Alford is in his sixth season as Nevada’s coach. He’s 166-104 at Nevada and 613-331 overall as a Division I coach.
Nevada leads the all-time series 19-13.
The game will be at Lawlor Events Center on Nevada’s campus. Lawlor has a capacity of 11,536.
CSU is No. 106 in KenPom and Nevada is No. 46. KenPom projects a nine-point victory (74-65) for Nevada.
CSU is No. 127 and Nevada is No. 48 in the NCAA NET rankings.
