12. Marquette Golden Eagles (14-2 overall; 5-2 vs. Quad 1) — The five Quad 1 wins for Marquette ranks tied for third-most in Division I, as the Golden Eagles remain unbeaten in the Big East.

13. Kentucky Wildcats (13-3 overall; 4-3 vs. Quad 1) — First-year head coach Mark Pope has Kentucky clicking with two SEC wins against nationally ranked opponents. There are certainly chances for more with three of the next four games being against top-25 teams.

14. Arizona Wildcats (10-5 overall; 2-5 vs. Quad 1) — Arizona extended its win streak to six games as it adjusts to the Big 12 slate. The Wildcats beat Cincinnati and West Virginia on the road in ranked matchups already.

15. Michigan State Spartans (13-2 overall; 2-2 vs. Quad 1) — Michigan State has not lost since just before Thanksgiving at the Maui Invitational. The Spartans take their eight-game win streak on the road at Northwestern Sunday.

16. Mississippi State Bulldogs (14-2 overall; 4-1 vs. Quad 1) — Mississippi State has just two losses on the season, narrowly dropping a SEC showdown against Kentucky, 95-90, Saturday.

17. Texas A&M Aggies (13-3 overall; 4-2 vs. Quad 1) — Texas A&M was among the hottest teams in the country coming into Saturday before a 94-88 loss to Alabama.

18. Texas Tech Red Raiders (11-4 overall; 2-2 vs. Quad 1) — Texas Tech was unable to pull off the upset of No. 3 Iowa State in Lubbock on Saturday after taking a two-point lead with six seconds left in regulation, ultimately losing in overtime, 85-84.
