Coastal Carolina will refund season tickets if men’s and women’s hoops win 35
Fans of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will have an extra incentive to root for their men’s and women’s basketball teams this season.
On Thursday, the team announced a “We Win, You Win Money Back Guarantee” for its basketball programs. Any fan who purchases a men’s or women’s basketball season ticket by Nov. 3 will receive a full refund if the teams win a combined 35 regular-season games.
In 2023, the Boise State Broncos football team also had a “We Win, You Win” promotion for their season opener against the UCF Knights, where fans who purchased a special edition ticket would receive a complimentary ticket to the team’s game against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks. Had Boise State won, fans would have also received a ticket to their matchup against the San Diego State Aztecs. However, Boise State fell to UCF 18-16.
Coastal Carolina’s men’s team went 9-22 in 2023-24, while its women’s team was 12-21. They play a combined 57 games this season, meaning they’ll need a 61.4% win rate for fans to get their money back.
