APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. – An overnight fire kept the Superstition Fire and Medical District on their toes overnight.
A fire at Apache Creek Golf Club caused damage to one of the buildings at Apache Creek Golf Club on Monday, Dec. 16, just after midnight.
According to a release by Superstition Fire & Medical, crews found that a water main break prevented the fire sprinklers from turning on to prevent the fire from spreading.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading to a second building, but damage was sustained to the clubhouse.
The golf club is located near the intersection of US 60 and Ironwood Drive in Apache Junction.
