How many wins will the Cincinnati football team get in 2025?

Here’s an early game-by-game win-loss prediction for the Bearcats for their 2025 schedule, beginning with a game against Nebraska in Kansas City on Aug. 28 and concluding with a game at TCU on Nov. 29.

The Bearcats will host Bowling Green, Northwestern State, Iowa State, UCF, Baylor, Arizona and BYU this season. They will also play at Kansas, Oklahoma State and Utah, looking to improve on their 5-7 overall record and 3-6 Big 12 record in 2024.

Aug. 28: Nebraska vs Cincinnati (in Kansas City)

We’ll know a lot about the Bearcats after this game. Could this team surprise in 2025? We have serious doubts.

Game prediction: Nebraska 31, Cincinnati 17

Cincinnati record prediction: 0-1

Sept. 6: Bowling Green at Cincinnati

Bowling Green went 7-6 last season, and played Penn State and Texas A&M tough. This is a must-win game for the Bearcats.

Game prediction: Cincinnati 27, Bowling Green 21

Cincinnati record prediction: 1-1

Sept. 13: Northwestern State at Cincinnati

Northwestern State was 0-12 last season. Cincinnati should cruise in this game.

Sept. 27: Cincinnati at Kansas

Will the Bearcats be able to stop the Jayhawks? Will they be able to put up enough points to stay with Kansas? We have doubts.

Oct. 4: Iowa State at Cincinnati

Cincinnati does have something going for it in this game … it is playing at home. But we don’t think home-field advantage will be enough to beat the Cyclones.

Oct. 11: UCF at Cincinnati

We think that wins are going to be hard for the Bearcats to get in 2025, especially in the Big 12, but this game against the Knights provides a great chance for Cincinnati to get in the conference win column.

Game prediction: Cincinnati 31, UCF 24

Cincinnati record prediction: 3-3 (1-2 Big 12)

Oct. 18: Cincinnati at Oklahoma State

The Bearcats were just 2-4 on the road last season. We expect them to struggle on the road again in 2025, including against the Cowboys in Stillwater.

Game prediction: Oklahoma State 27, Cincinnati 17

Cincinnati record prediction: 3-4 (1-3 Big 12)

Oct. 25: Baylor at Cincinnati

We think the Bears could challenge for the Big 12 title and we think that Cincinnati could begin a losing streak with a second straight conference loss in this game.

Game prediction: Baylor 27, Cincinnati 20

Cincinnati record prediction: 3-5 (1-4 Big 12)

Nov. 1: Cincinnati at Utah

Both of these teams went 5-7 overall last season and are eager for a better 2025. The winner of this game will help its cause considerably.

Game prediction: Utah 30, Cincinnati 27

Cincinnati record prediction: 3-6 (1-5 Big 12)

Nov. 15: Arizona at Cincinnati

This Big 12 game could be a pivotal one, It’s the first matchup between the foes as conference rivals and it’s at Nippert Stadium, which bodes well for the Bearcats. But will Cincinnati be able to contain Noah Fifita?

Game prediction: Arizona 24, Cincinnati 21

Cincinnati record prediction: 3-7 (1-6 Big 12)

Nov. 22: BYU at Cincinnati

We’d love to pick a big upset for the Bearcats over the Cougars, but BYU could be in contention for the Big 12 title entering this game and it won’t look past Cincinnati.

Game prediction: BYU 34, Cincinnati 23

Cincinnati record prediction: 3-8 (1-7 Big 12)

Nov. 29: Cincinnati at TCU

TCU beat Cincinnati in the season finale last season, 20-13, on the road. The Horned Frogs get the Bearcats in Texas for this one, which won’t end well for Cincinnati.
