ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Sophomore women’s golfer Chloe Tarkany has been named Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Co-Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office on Thursday. She shares the honor with Indiana State’s Yang Tai and UNI’s Anna Jensen.
Tarkany finished in a tie for fifth place at The Velvet this week as the Scottsdale, Arizona native fired scores of 77-74-75 for a 226 total. Her score helped the Bruins to a third place finish.Â
This marks the third time she has earned weekly honors from the MVC. She previously earned the award in September of 2023 and October of 2022.Â
Chloe leads the team in scoring with a 75.3 average.
The women’s golf team is back in action on September 30-October 1 at the Butler Fall Invitational in Indianapolis.
