NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Some retail stores are extending their hours over the next few days for the holidays.
The Tanger Outlets in North Charleston offer these hours as listed below:
Some of the shoppers at the outlet mall said shopping this late in the game is part of that Christmas spirit.
“So to be honest with you, I’m just a last-minute person. I mean I get stuff during the black Friday sales, but it’s just something about the pressure of last minute like, ‘Oh my gosh, I got to get this,” Alisha Johnson said.
However, seven-year-old David Pickrell got dragged along for his shopping day with his parents.
He said he was ahead of the game when sorting out gifts for the rest of the family, but they had to remain a secret.
“Well, I already got some Christmas gifts at my school, but I can’t tell you because my family is nearby and they don’t know,” Pickrell said.
Hundreds of shoppers were shopping for their loved ones or themselves in some cases and several of the stores had holiday deals.
Two young women said they shopped in person earlier in the Christmas season with these discounts not only to help their bank accounts but also to secure their gifts.
“I like walking around with bags. I’m walking around like, ‘Oh yeah, I just went shopping,’ especially because I kind of have a shopping addiction, but this time I’ve been actually able to control myself,” Yanis Duran said.
One employee at Pandora Jewelry says they have been busy nonstop this holiday season, as they can be a good spot for a nice last-minute gift.
