The full NBA regular season schedule will be released later this week but a notable portion of the Celtics schedule was revealed on Tuesday as part of the Emirates NBA Cup.
The Celtics will play in Group C in the Eastern Conference and their four group play dates were announced by the league ahead of a full season reveal.
Here’s a look at that full schedule for the in-season tournament that will occur on select Tuesdays and Fridays during November and early December.

Each team will play every other team within their group, (consisting of five total teams) during the group stage. The winners of each group and one wildcard team from each conference will advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament in December. Last season, the Celtics advanced to the quarterfinal round before losing to the Pacers in Indiana.
The semifinals and championship of the NBA Cup will be held at T-Mobile Arena for the second straight year with the with a large prize pool for the winners.
The Celtics will be heavily favored to advance in their group but will likely be facing a bit of a challenge in the front court to do so. Kristaps Porzingis is not expected to return to action until at least December after undergoing leg surgery in July so he will not be able to play during group play. The Cavs frontcourt of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley should provide a stiff test for the Celtics on that front within group play. The Hawks, Bulls and Wizards are all expected to be sub .500 teams this year, making the Cavs the top threat in the group to Boston.
Here’s the full list of teams within groups for the NBA Cup.
