Carlos Alcaraz will shatter Novak Djokovic’s grand slam record – there is nobody that can challenge him.

Many of the world’s top male players failed to impress again at Wimbledon as a one-legged Djokovic limped to the final without playing spectacularly well.

The Serb suffered a comprehensive battering on Sunday with his Spanish rival in a clear rush to watch the Euro 2024 final.

It proved there is no genuine threat to Alcaraz’s crown in the men’s draw.

When Djokovic was amassing his impressive 24 grand slam titles, he had Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal challenging at every Major.

But where is Alcaraz’s threat going to come from?

Djokovic will retire over the coming years, Nadal and Andy Murray will hang up their rackets this year.

Jannik Sinner and Holger Rune have been tipped to join Alcaraz in forming the next Big Three but they are nowhere near the same level.

Alcaraz is going to have a monopoly at the Majors for many years to come.
