Both players have made it thus far thanks to hard-fought three-set successes last time out. As the higher-ranked player, Elise Mertens is the early favorite here, though I’m of the opinion that the Belgian competitor, who despite her clear talent is far from a model of consistency, is too short in the betting, meaning that the Colombian can be supported at generous odds.
