Shortly after completing the season sweep against the Phoenix Mercury, Caitlin Clark took in an NFL preseason game in Indianapolis.
The Indiana Fever star and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffrey, were shown in a suite watching the Colts work their way to victory against the Arizona Cardinals from a suite at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.
The experience was one day removed from Clark leading her Fever to victory over the Mercury, recording 29 points and 16 assists in the contest.
Clark got into it during the game with Mercury star Kahleah Copper over a hard foul.
The outing was Clark and the Fever’s return to WNBA action since breaking for the Olympics.
It was their first game since July 17.
In the past, Clark has said that her favorite athlete growing up had been Peyton Manning.
In the Colts game, which became a 21-13 victory, the team powered their way to three rushing touchdowns in the effort.
Undrafted running back Zavier Scott, who spent 2023 on the team’s practice squad, rushed for 55 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown in a standout performance.
Additionally, oft-injured Laquon Treadwell hauled in seven passes for 72 yards.
This is the latest sporting event Clark and McCaffery have been to after checking out a Yankees game in The Bronx on Aug. 10.
