RICHMOND, Va. (September 17, 2024) – The CAA has announced its women’s basketball conference schedule for the 2024-25 season.
The conference slate begins with all 14 teams in action on Friday, January 3 and Sunday, January 5. League contests will continue to be played each Friday and Sunday until the final week of the regular season, when games will be played on Thursday and Saturday.
All CAA matchups will be available on FloCollege, with some games also airing on local linear television affiliates.
Following the 18-game regular-season schedule, all 14 teams will head to the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. for the CAA Women’s Basketball Championship on March 12-16, 2025. FloCollege will broadcast the first four days of the tournament and CBS Sports Network will televise the championship game for the third year in a row.
CAA women’s basketball is coming off a strong 2023-24 campaign that saw five teams receive postseason berths, which was the most for the conference since 2012. Drexel became the second consecutive No. 7 seed to capture the CAA Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third time. Regular-season champion Stony Brook participated in the inaugural WBIT and advanced to the second round. Charleston, Monmouth and North Carolina A&T each won 22 games and participated in the WNIT. The Aggies reached the Super 16, while the Cougars and Hawks each got to the second round.
