Bryson DeChambeau recently appeared on the cover of Golf Digest ahead of The Crypto Showdown, where he will team up with Brooks Koepka for a match against PGA Tour superstars Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler on December 17. What was interesting about the picture though was that he was donning a Reebok tee-shirt. His shoes were also from the same brand.
Now obviously this led to speculations that The Scientist and perhaps, his team Crushers GC might have struck a deal with Reebok for the 2025 LIV Golf season. However, there were no official announcements. Until now!
The official X account of the $2.5 billion brand recently took to their official X account and shared a golf promotional video. In the video, a golf cart appeared in the course, and someone got off it to hit a swing. Who that was wasn’t clear. But it’s more than a fair guess. You see, the entire focus was on the black Reebok shoes that the golfer wore when he jumped out of the golf cart. But here’s the catch. They said, “We’re breaking 50 today”. And well, we all know who’s challenge that is! The Break 50 hint gives out the fact that the Crushers GC captain has indeed got into an endorsement deal with the brand.

The 31-year-old has amassed an impressive 1.63 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, thanks to his distinctive challenges and quirky videos. His popular series, like The Break 50 and his Ace over the House challenges, have made a significant impact on the golf community. Partnering with him would undoubtedly bring a major boost to any company, tapping into his broad and engaged fanbase.
It seems like things are finally working out for the Crushers GC Captain after joining LIV Golf, and it is all because of his popularity. If this partnership does officially get announced, well it’d be a game changer for Bryson. After all it’s been 2 years since he lost his biggest endoser, when he and the others deflected to LIV.

DeChambeau is undoubtedly one of the greatest golfers in the present day. And thus, there is no question as to why he was offered a four-year, $125 million contract with the league in June 2022. And well, he signed it too. Along with Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka and others, he was among the first few players to join LIV. However, this caused him a loss.
A few hours after the update, Rocket Mortgage ended its sponsorship deal with Bryson DeChambeau, issuing a brief statement. “Effective immediately, Rocket Mortgage has terminated its sponsorship agreement with Bryson. We wish him well in his future endeavors,” they revealed. Rocket Mortgage is one of the primary partners of the PGA Tour. They’re even the title sponsors of Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit. So it was almost inevitable.

Sadly,, that was not all for the losses. Just after playing a month in LIV Golf, in July 2022 Bridgestone Golf decided to pause the sponsorship with the golfing star. They had been together for six years, but decided to put things on hold. Jonathan Wall shared the news and wrote, “The PGA Tour is an extremely important part of professional golf, and Bridgestone has a sports marketing relationship with this highly visible series of tournaments.” Since DeChambeau was no longer involved in those events, the company believed it no longer made sense to continue their partnership.
Now DeChambeau is back on the horse. Reebok, the multi-billion-dollar company, is no joke. And perhaps Rocket Mortgage and Bridgestone are in for some regrets.
