Brooks Koepka has split with his long-time golf coach Claude Harmon III ahead of the 2025 LIV Golf League season, according to Golfweek.
Koepka, 34, confirmed the update via a text message to Golfweek on Friday.
“Pete Cowen and Jeff Pierce will be handling everything golf-related,” Koepka told the publication.
Despite parting ways with Harmon III this season, Koepka should still be in safe hands given Cowen and Pierce know his game well.
That’s because they are both long-standing members of his team.
Cowen has worked tirelessly on Koepka’s short game through the years, while Pierce has helped Koepka out on the greens.

Harmon III, who is the son of Tiger Woods’ long-time golf coach Butch Harmon, worked as Koepka’s full golf swing instructor.
“Yes, not working with him,” Harmon III wrote in a text message to Golfweek.
“Proud of the things we did together when I came back at the back end of 2022.”
Koepka first began working with Harmon III back in 2013.
That came when he was on the lower-tier European Challenge Tour and four years before Koepka landed the first of his five major titles.
Koepka won nine times in total on the PGA Tour.
Harmon III and Koepka had a break from each other in November 2020.
They they returned to work alongside one another in June 2022.
That came when Koepka switched from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf.
Koepka has since gone on to win five times on the Saudi-backed circuit.
Harmon III is understood to still be working with LIV Golf’s Dustin Johnson in 2025.
Brooks Koepka’s five major wins:
- 2017 US Open
- 2018 US PGA
- 2018 US Open
