What a win on Monday night.
The Denver Broncos defense — specifically Levi Wallace — got air raided by Jameis Winston and Jerry Jeudy all night, but the Cleveland Browns came up short where it mattered the most. Turnovers. The defense bailed themselves out with two pick sixes on Winston and that ended up being the difference in the game.
However, it was the strong play from Bo Nix that again keeps his name in the Offensive Rookie of the Year conversation. And now we need to start talking about Sean Payton as a strong NFL Coach of the Year candidate. After dumping Russell Wilson and eating mega dead money, no one believed the Broncos had a shot at winning five games much less contend for a playoff spot.
What do you think? Is Sean Payton the NFL Coach of the Year so far? Vote below and I’ll be back on Friday to share the results!
