With the end of horse racing season in sight, that means it’s time for one of the biggest races of the year – the Breeders’ Cup.
A two-day event, the Breeders’ Cup takes place in early November, rotating through four different tracks between California and Kentucky. This year, the World Championships returns to Del Mar for two consecutive seasons.
The race begins with Future Stars Friday with five races before Saturday’s competition where nine horses are crowned, including the ultimate Breeders’ Cup Classic, which has a purse of $7 million.
Only one competitor has won the Classic twice, and that’ll stay the same this year with a new champion on the horizon.Â
To see who it is and catch all the action, here’s how to get the best prices on tickets for the Breeders’ Cup, the ultimate horse race.

Tickets for the Breeders’ Cup are available now on StubHub. Passes can be purchased in three options – Friday only, Saturday only or a two-day pass.Â
Two-day passes, giving ticket-holders access to all the races during the weekend, are the most expensive at $340 for general admission. Saturday seats are going for $210, though that price may increase as the race approaches. You can find Friday only tickets for as little as $100 for those who want to attend the event for the cheapest price, though that does not grant access to the main event, the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
