The Friday night Alabama football availability report didn’t include any changes, but there was a noteworthy injury update on Missouri quarterback Brady Cook.
Cook, the starting quarterback, was upgraded from doubtful to questionable Friday night on the official availability report. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Cook will “attempt to ramp up and play”
Cook had to leave the game against Auburn this past weekend with an ankle injury before eventually returning to the game and beating the Tigers at Faurot Field. If Cook can’t go, Missouri would turn to Drew Pyne, a former Notre Dame and Arizona State quarterback.
Meanwhile, Missouri’s starting running back Nate Noel will be out for the game officially.
On the Alabama side, the Crimson Tide listed starting safety Keon Sabb as out, as it did earlier in the week. He will be “down for a while” per Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer. Bray Hubbard is expected to fill his spot. Red Morgan is probable for the game still after he sustained an injury during the Tennessee game; He rotates with DeVonta Smith at the Husky spot.
No. 15 Alabama will face No. 21 Missouri on Saturday (2:45 p.m. CT, ABC) at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
