MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A Wisconsin legend is taking his place in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Former Wisconsin head men’s basketball coach Bo Ryan is headed to the Hall of Fame in the class of 2024.
Ryan is joined by Chauncey Billups (player), Vince Carter (player), Michael Cooper (player), Walter Davis (player), Charles Smith (coach), Seimone Augustus (player), Dick Barnett (player), Harley Redin (coach), Michele Timms (player), Doug Collins (contributor), Herb Simon (contributor), and Jerry West (contributor).
The fourth time Big Ten Coach of the Year is the third member of the hall with University of Wisconsin ties.
Sunday will see the full enshrinement.
