RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The South Dakota Community Foundation strives to make the Black Hills a better place through grants that fund organizations that otherwise might not see as much money and support.
The Miller Grant was given to Black Hills Works in order to assist with growing employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. A new program out of Black Hills Works teaches employment skills along of lines of laundry services and focuses on the importance of how to set an alarm for a job, dress for a job, or interview for a job.
