RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – If you are looking to golf – and not go outside to do it – then you are now in luck.
Sumiko Maser is one of the owners of Birdeez. It’s located in the site of the old antique mall on North Sierra St. near Silver Peak.
“Now there is a lot more to do,” she mentioned. “You can make a whole day out of hanging out in this area.”
Birdeez has multiple elements that will bring people in, but golf is the biggest one.
“Northern Nevada hasn’t seen anything like this yet,” said GM Alex Groden. “The love and care that went into crafting each of these holes is insane.”
There are 27 holes total. And they feature Reno-centric themes. You don’t have to play all 27. As the price is $15 per 9 holes.
If you aren’t into golf, you can play darts. And new technology allows for the use of top-quality metal darts, with the digital element.
To play darts its $17 per person for the first half hour and $6 per every 30 min after.
Birdeez also features two bars and a restaurant run by Sergio Romero, the owner of La Condesa Eatery on S. Wells Ave.
“We offer things from a bacon cheeseburger to an exotic mushroom dip with hummus and chips,” said Groden. “It’s amazing.”
Birdeez is open Sun – Thu 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Fri & Sat from 10 a.m. – 1 a.m. It is located at 151 N. Sierra St.
