The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-0 and have had increasingly productive quarterback play from Justin Fields over their three games thus far. Fields had his best game as a Steeler in Week 3, going 25-of-32 for 245 yards and two total scores to help the Steelers in 20-10.
In his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick says the Steelers are in a great place with their quarterback situation, and that it may be the best in football.
“Everybody was worried about Pittsburgh’s quarterback situation and they might have the best one in the league,” Belichick said. “They have an experienced guy [in Russell Wilson] behind Fields if you need him and they’re playing well as a team.”
While that is a bit of a stretch – I’d much rather have that Patrick Mahomes guy or that No. 17 fella in Buffalo – it is good to see the Steelers not be completely incompetent at the quarterback position like they have been since Ben Roethlisberger retired.
