ACA president and Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) revealed that the association has requested 60 acres of land from the Andhra Pradesh government to bring the stadium to life.
As part of a larger sports city spanning 200 acres, this facility will be central to the transformation of Amaravati into a global hub for sports.
Chinni expressed confidence that the stadium would not only redefine cricket infrastructure in the country but also elevate Amaravati’s stature on the international stage.

The ACA has also announced its intention to bid for the 2029 National Games, which, if successful, would further establish Andhra Pradesh as a key player in Indian sports development.
