BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. – The Dartmouth men’s golf team competed in a 36-hole tourney at the Glen Arbor Invitation on Monday. Harvard took the title after shooting +9. Seton Hall came in second, Yale placed third and Dartmouth rounded out the single day tournament shooting +26.
Tyler Brand led the Big Green after shooting 73 (+1) in his first round and 71 (-1) in the second round, breaking even par at 72 and finishing in third place on the day. Eli Kimche was right behind him in seventh after shooting 74 (+2) in the first round and 74 (+2) in the second.
Alex Gu and Finlay Szafnauer finished tied for 18th. Gu shot 77 (+5) and 80 (+8) while Szafnauer shot the reverse, 80 (+8) followed by a 77 (+5).
Colin Keith finished 25th with an 83 (+11) and a 76 (+4). Ian Davis, who played as an individual, placed 21st shooting an 83 (+11) and a 75 (+3).
Aaron Zhang rounded out the Dartmouth golfers with a 84 (+12) and a 82 (+10).
The Glen Arbor Invitational completes the Dartmouth men’s golf fall schedule. The team will return to competition when they travel to the Savannah Intercollegiate on Saturday, Feb. 15 and Sunday, Feb. 16.
