Jalen Brunson is starting to get his teammates involved, and his assists prop highlights our NBA prop picks for November 23.

Friday’s NBA Cup action provided a string of blowouts with two close games between the Mavs and Nuggets and the Pels and Warriors. Saturday’s slate has seven games on tap with some great player props available.
My favorite NBA picks for November 23 feature two big men ready to cash their combo props in phenomenal matchups. I’m also looking to New York’s star guard for a plus-money assists prop as he continues to get teammates involved.
Picks made on 11-23 at 9:00 a.m. ET.
With the way Jalen Brunson has been playing, it’s ludicrous to get this assists line at even money. Brunson is averaging a career-best 7.3 assists per game this season and has hit the Over on this one in eight of 15.
Brunson has dished at least seven assists in five straight and at least eight in four of his last five. That includes three straight games with double-digit dimes. Tonight’s matchup is tremendous, and I’m hammering the Over.
New York is favored by 8.5 points, but even if the Knicks go up big, Brunson can get to eight assists. He had that many in the first half of Wednesday’s win over Phoenix, as the Knicks dropped 72 first-half points.
The Jazz have allowed the third-highest shooting percentage, fourth-most points, and fourth-most assists this season. Brunson handed out 17 assists in two games against Utah last season, hitting the Over in both.
Alperen Sengun is in a great spot against a Blazers team that has allowed the fifth-most assists, fifth-most rebounds, and 13th-most points this season. He went for 14/8/3 last night, but the Rockets won comfortably, and he logged only 25 minutes.
I’m not scared off by the negative game script tonight, as Portland is 3-2 across its last five with a game against the Thunder they led in the fourth quarter.
I’m counting on Portland keeping tonight’s matchup closer and Sengun hitting the Over on this line. On the season, he’s averaged 36.1 PRAs at home compared to 30.3 on the road, so he’s got an advantage playing at Toyota Center tonight.
Sengun has hit the Over on this line in seven games this season, and five have come in front of the home crowd. The big man has been hot over his last eight games, averaging 36.9 PRAs and hitting the Over five times.
Nikola Vucevic continues to operate as an under-the-radar big this season, and I’m happy to keep going back to him when the opportunity presents itself. Vucevic is averaging 30 PRs and has hit the Over in nine of 17 appearances. He finished with exactly 30 PRs in two more.
Vucevic finished with 29 PRs against Memphis when the Bulls and Grizzlies played each other earlier in the season. For this game, however, the Bulls will be without Patrick Williams, and the Grizzlies will be without Zach Edey.
At 7-foot-4, 305 pounds, Edey is a big body in the paint. Memphis has started Brandon Clarke at center in four straight games, and the Grizzlies have allowed the eighth-most rebounds per game with the 6-foot-8, 215-pound Clarke at the five.
I’ll take Vooch to get it done in this favorable matchup in which he has a clear size advantage.
