INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Beauty Boost Indianapolis is set to host its largest event yet, a fitness sampler on May 18th at the Grand Park Events Center in Westfield, aiming to bring together 500 women for a day of empowerment and wellness.
The Beauty Boost is a national brand with a presence in 30 cities, founded by Rachel in Columbus, Ohio.
Chrissy Lamy, the city owner of The Beauty Boost Indianapolis, is leading the local chapter’s efforts to create a community where women can feel healthy, empowered, and beautiful through various events.
“I absolutely fell in love with the community,” said Chrissy Lamy, reflecting on her experience with The Beauty Boost before bringing it to Indianapolis. “We’re all about bringing everybody together in that safe space so we can uplift each other.”
Participants will also receive swag bags valued at over $400. Katrina Gerlich, an ambassador for The Beauty Boost, emphasized the importance of creating safe spaces for women to feel empowered and uplifted.
“Women need a space where they can go and be and feel safe to let their guard down,” she explained.
The upcoming fitness sampler event promises a day full of activities, including back-to-back fitness samples from local studios, a singing bowl and stretch session, and a girls’ walk with We Walk Indy, another community group in the area.
BodyFit Training in Westfield, Indianapolis, is partnering with Beauty Boost Indianapolis to offer their signature unique group strength training experience, combining advanced technology and community-building exercises.
“We have a lot of members that want to make friends,” said John Allen, associated with BodyFit Training. “In fitness, you can bring together like-minded people.”
BodyFit Training distinguishes itself with its coaching, programming, and technology. Two to three highly accredited coaches lead each session, offering more personalized attention than typical group workouts.
The studio’s progressive programming is structured in eight to ten-week blocks, allowing participants to build on their progress each week. This method is complemented by the use of heart rate monitors and body scans, which are provided free for all members.
With its focus on empowerment and community, The Beauty Boost Indianapolis continues to grow and provide valuable experiences for women in the area.
