Moira , the 2022 Canadian Horse of the Year and recent winner of Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1T), became the third highest-priced mare during the Fasig-Tipton The November Sale when an entity named Bayles bought her Nov. 4 for $4.3 million.
The 5-year-old daughter of Ghostzapper (Hip 293) improved her record to 7-6-2 out of 17 starts with her win Nov. 2 during the Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Del Mar. She has earned nearly $3 million for owners Madaket Stables, SF Racing, and X-Men Racing and trainer Kevin Attard.
Hill ‘n’ Dale at Xalapa consigned Moira, who is out of the grade 2-placed stakes winner and multiple stakes producer Devine Aida .
