Bayside residents can get into the holiday spirit by visiting Jolly Old St. Nick himself at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center this month, where Santa Claus will be available for photos and festive fun every weekend leading up to Christmas.
Santa Claus will make special appearances at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center every Saturday and Sunday this month through Dec. 22.
On Dec. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 22, families can visit Santa from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the “Everything Christmas” pop-up store, situated in the former Express store at the shopping center located at 212-45 26th Ave. in Bay Terrace.
In addition to the opportunity for children to meet Santa and take photos, the pop-up store will also be accepting donations of unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots, helping to spread holiday cheer to children in need.
“Every year, Cord Meyer looks forward to bringing holiday cheer to families, couples, friends — anyone who wants their picture taken with Santa!” said Joe Forgione, Vice President and Bay Terrace Project Lead at Cord Meyer. “It’s a festive way for us to support our tenants and the Bay Terrace community. We are especially grateful to the NYPD Community Outreach Division for helping coordinate this year’s toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots. Visitors to the Santa photo op are invited to bring an unwrapped toy that will be distributed by Toys for Tots, delivering hope to children during the holidays.”
The Bay Terrace Shopping Center, known for its variety of stores and community atmosphere, offers a convenient and festive location for families to enjoy the holiday season.
