*John Glenn, which claimed the Tri-Valley Conference Red title in outright fashion, saw its program-record 16-game winning streak halted with a loss to Midland Dow.
*Standish-Sterling made history by defeating Pinconning in the first Jack Pine Conference overall championship game. It marks the fourth straight league title for Standish-Sterling, which won its division in the Tri-Valley Conference the past three years.
*Hale’s Sam Patten scored 100 points in three games, lighting up the scoreboard for 35 against Fairview, 32 vs. Atlanta and 33 against Whittemore-Prescott.
