The new location will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and won’t require staff to be on-site. Members will receive a bluetooth code they can scan at the door of the facility at their set time.
There will be a vending machine on site, as well as four bays where golfers can practice on virtual golf courses. In the bays, golfers can play virtually on several different courses and choose between different game modes, such as skill challenges. Golfers in the bay take their swing toward a projector screen and technology at the facility tracks their performance.
“We’re really excited to be able to get in and serve the community,” Reagan Bluth, the franchisee, said.
The facility was approved by council on Oct. 21. The business, which is membership based, operates in 13 states, including Texas.
