As the infamous home of the Big Gulp, we never anticipated 7-Eleven to come out with the summer drop that sent shockwaves through the golf world with its Convenience Tour capsule. The fun, refreshing, impractically chic, and oh-so-affordable collection turned up the heat and made kitschy retro vibes impeccably cool. With its cropped rugby polo, the dreamiest bowling shirt we’re still reeling about, and a slew of accessories that we’d rock on and off the course—the Convenience Tour left us wanting more … and well, our wish came true. Drop those Slurpees and take a peek at the latest iteration from 7-Eleven’s Always Open, Open (we LOVE a pun). With new offerings, including a special edition golf bag in collaboration with Sunday Golf, this collection is hot, ready, and up for grabs.
Coming back for more, the 7Collection decided to up the ante. “Following the incredible response to last year’s golf collection, we’ve taken everything that customers loved about that drop and kicked it up a notch with new and unique pieces this year,” said Marissa Jarratt, executive vice president and chief marketing & sustainability officer at 7-Eleven, Inc. “This line was created for fashion and golf enthusiasts alike, taking the evolving appeal of golf culture and intersecting it with fashion trends to celebrate summer, sports and the joy of convenience.”
The previous collection was striking, demonstrating sport and fashion with a touch of nuance that was light-hearted and fun with how “out there” it was. The 7Collection stayed true to its brand ethos, curating logos and color palettes that made sense while releasing easily digestible products (hats, tees, graphic tees, and of course, a cooler). And though a few pieces are a tad more expensive this time around, each product remains tastefully under $70 (with the exception of the stand golf bag).
Sticking with the funky, 70s-inspired vibes, the Always Open, Open capsule debuts with vibrant colorways (brighter than a delicious cherry red Slurpee), added polo options, knitwear, a windbreaker, and the same retro button-up from last summer reimagined in a fresh new summer shade—this drop feels more playful and nostalgic than the last.
With a couple of drops under its belt, the 7Collection went at it with a full swing … and they didn’t miss.
We can’t tear our eyes away from the wonderfully whimsical two-piece polka-dotted set offered in three colors: red, orange and green. Whether you pair the button-up and shorts together or mix and match is up to you, but why not just go all in?
The co-ord set aside, the capsule came out with some swanky knitwear that also caught our eye. Yes, yet another terry polo is making its way into the golf sphere, and we couldn’t be more excited. Other brands like Vice Golf and Adidas have released terry/terry cloth apparel, and we’ve been patiently waiting for others to catch on. It doesn’t get more moisture-wicking than the material used to make towels, people! Terry polos (both short and long) are available, along with a women’s sweater vest. If you’re not opposed to wearing the 7-Eleven crest logo on your chest, we’d love to see this layered over a tee, with a pleated skirt for an edgy yet preppy look.
Other styles like a warm-up jacket, a 90s-inspired windbreaker, and a series of swanky graphic tees with clever slogans are also up for grabs—and don’t forget to upgrade your cooler bag by Sunday Golf, so you stay refreshed on the fairways.
