ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – Former studio ‘Rise Up Yoga’ has been rebranded with new owners to ‘Aurora Fitness & Yoga.’
Following owner Kellie Socia’s announcement of closing her business in December, Katie Gray stepped in with her husband, Jim. The first time business owners quickly adjusted, using the same location and adding more fitness classes to the yoga studio. The family cut their grand opening ribbon on Wednesday.
So far in February, the studio has already held a number of fitness and yoga classes, bringing much support from the community. “We’ve been here for a few weeks now and people have really enjoyed the variety of classes,” said Katie.
Previous ‘Rise Up’ yoga instructors have also stayed with the location, helping out with the new business. For more information, check out their Facebook page.
