ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) – A business reopened its doors with new owners and a new look.
The business formerly known as Rise Up Yoga is under new ownership and has been rebranded. Aurora Fitness and Yoga is a place for people of all ages to practice yoga and partake in fitness classes.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Lake Superior Community Partnership brought the scissors and ribbon to celebrate the opening of the studio.
Many of the instructors working under the previous owners stayed to continue teaching, and the new owners added additional fitness and cardio classes.
The new owners, Katie and Jim Gray say they didn’t want the studio to close, so they took over.
“We wanted to stay open because we both live and work in Ishpeming and we just thought that it would be a great thing to keep in our community, to keep it running,” Katie Gray said.
Aurora Fitness and Yoga is located in Ishpeming at 1000 Country Lane, Suite 600.
