Doha: Audi has launched its second high power charging station at the Pearl Island in Qatar, setting a new industry benchmark with six fast chargers. As Qatar’s first luxury automotive brand to offer a 180-kW public charging station, Audi is driving a positive change and enhancing the charging experience for e-tron and other EV owners in Qatar.
The brand with four rings, has inaugurated its second high power charging station at The Pearl Island, enhancing Qatar’s electric vehicle infrastructure. The collaboration with the island’s master developer, United Development Company (UDC), underscores Audi’s commitment to sustainable mobility and innovation.
Located in the Pearl Island’s vibrant district, the newly launched charging station features six high-speed chargers, catering to e-tron and other electric vehicle (EV) owners. This move establishes Audi as Qatar’s first luxury automotive brand to offer a 180-kW charging station to the public, with the option to upgrade to 300-kW. This initiative reflects Audi’s dedication to setting new benchmarks in the automotive industry.
