Rublev – Marozsan: 06.02.2025 13:00 CEST
H2H: 1-1
Andrey Rublev has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Melbourne, Rublev lost in the opening round of the Australian Open against Fonseca. Last week in Montpellier, Andrey reached the semifinals, losing against Kovacevic in straight sets. It is his ninth appearance in Rotterdam. Andrey defeated Zhang in straight sets in the opening round, as we predicted. In 2021, Andrey won the title in Rotterdam, winning against Fucsovics in the final. Last season, Rublev reached the quarterfinals, losing against de Minaur in three tight sets.
Fabian Marozsan has won three of his last five matches. Last week, He played in the Davis Cup, representing Hungary. He won the opening match against Galarneau and lost his second match against Diallo. Today, in the opening round, Marozsan won against Struff in three sets, as we predicted. Two weeks ago in Melbourne, Fabian lost in the third round against Sonego in four sets. It is his second appearance in Rotterdam. Last year, Marozsan lost in the opening round against Fucsovics in straight sets.
According to the bookies, Rublev is the favorite in this matchup, but we disagree. So far this season, Andrey has been inconsistent. He was upset by Kovacevic last week in Montpellier under similar conditions. Marozsan played well in the opening round; we expect him to keep this match tight.
That being said, Marozsan covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Tsitsipas – Griekspoor: 06.02.2025 14:30 CEST
H2H: 1-0
Stefanos Tsitsipas has lost three of his last five matches. At the Australian Open, Stefanos lost against Michelsen in four sets as we predicted. In Rotterdam, Stefanos defeated Mayot in straight sets in the opening round. He served well throughout the match, not offering any breakpoints. Stefanos is the sixth seed in Rotterdam and hopes for a solid result to get closer to the top 10.
Tallon Griekspoor has won three of his last five matches. As we predicted, he lost in the opening round of the Australian Open against Hurkacz in straight sets. Last week in Montpellier, Griekspoor reached the quarterfinals, losing against de Jong in straight sets as we predicted. Last season, Griekspoor did not have any remarkable results. Today, in the opening round, Tallon defeated Berrettini in three sets, as we predicted. It is his tenth appearance in Rotterdam. Last year in Rotterdam, Griekspoor lost against Sinner in the semifinals in straight sets.
According to the bookies, this will be a 50-50 matchup, but we disagree. Griekspoor is in better form than Tsitsipas. These conditions better suit his game, and we expect him to win against Tsitsipas. Stefanos struggles on indoor courts, and we believe that his biggest problem will be his backhand.
That being said, Griekspoor winning is a value bet.
