Last year in Rotterdam, Alex finished as a runner-up, losing against Sinner in the final in straight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, de Minaur is the favorite in this matchup, and we agree. David is in terrible form at the moment. When they faced each other last year in Rotterdam, Alex easily demolished Goffin in straight sets. We expect a similar outcome next week as well. Goffin has no weapons for de Minaur’s game, and we believe Alex will win easily in straight sets.

Botic Van de Zandschulp has lost four straight matches. He was given a wild card next week in Rotterdam. Van de Zandschulp had a disappointing 2024 season. The former world number 22 is outside the top 80 rankings. He needs to start winning to get back into the top 50. It is his eighth appearance in Rotterdam. Last year in Rotterdam, Botic lost against Sinner in the opening round. He has never made it past the second round in Rotterdam.
