Munar – Hanfmann: 22.07.2024 11:00 CEST
H2H: 2-1
Jaume Munar has lost four of his last five matches. Last week in Hamburg, Munar lost his first round match against Fils in three tight sets as we predicted. So far this season, Munar has not have any remarkable results on clay. Last year around this time, Jaume played in Umag, where he lost against Sonego in the quarterfinals. His best result here in Kitzbuhel was in 2018, where he reached the semifinals and also won against Hanfmann in the first round.
Yannick Hanfmann has lost four of his last five matches. Hanfmann has been struggling a lot with his form this season. Last week in Gstaad, Hanfmann lost in the second round of the tournament against Auger-Aliassime in straight sets. So far this season, Hanfmann has not have any remarkable results, resulting in him being outside the top 100. Here in Kitzbuhel, Yannick has played two times. In 2020, Hanfmann reached the final here as a qualifier. Two years later, Hanfmann lost in the semifinals.
According to the bookies, Munar is the slight favorite in this matchup. Both players are out of form, and really inconsistent. We expect a very tight match that could go on either side.
That being said, over games is a value bet.

Seyboth Wild – Schwaerzler: 22.07.2024 12:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Thiago Seyboth Wild has lost four of his last five matches. Last week in Hamburg, Thiago lost in the first round against Zhang in straight sets as we predicted. Earlier this season, Seyboth Wild played solid tennis and almost got into the top 50. Unfortunately, the injuries had ruined his second part of the season. So far this season, Thiago has not have any remarkable results. Last year in Kitzbuhel, Thiago lost in the second round of the tournament against Djere in straight sets.
Joel Josef Schwaerzler has lost three of his last five matches. The young Austrian is the big Austrian hope. He has been granted a wild card here in Kitzbuhel. Last week in Salzburg, Schwaerzler lost in the first round of the challenger tournament against Huesler in straight sets. The former number 1 junior is adapting to the pro level. He spent most of his time playing at the ITF level. However, he is slowly transitioning to the challenger level. Earlier this season, Schwaerzler won the challenger title in Skopje, winning against Majchrzak in the final.
According to the bookies, Seyboth Wild is the big favorite in this matchup. With his current fitness issues, we are not sure if Seyboth is 100% fit for this matchup. The Austrian is playing solid tennis, and will have the crowd on his side. Schwaerzler is one of the biggest Austrian talents, and we believe that he will keep this match tight.
That being said, Schwaerzler covering the games handicap is a value bet.
