In an interview with Defensehere.com, Walid Lahoud, the Regional Sales Director of ATERMES, presented their latest product SURICATE at Milipol Qatar 2024.

ATERMES is a French company which is operating in the fields of mechanics, electronics, optronics and software and is deploying border solutions with night optronic solutions, as Walid Lahoud stated.

“The latest (optronic solution) one is SURICATE, which is a very high-tech optronic system with AI facilities. The AI is embedded inside the machine. Therefore, when the high-tech sensors are capturing any objects, the AI immediately operates.” he said about their latest product.

“For example, SURICATE is qualified now in Europe as a very reliable drone detector. It can detect drones and even silent drones.” he added.

Lahoud said that they have been present in the region since last year.

He also said that they are working with local integrators which are called value added resellers.

In Qatar, ATERMES is working with HATCOM.
