JONESBORO, Ark. (2/13/25) – For the third time this season, Arkansas State women’s golfer Ashley Kim has been named the Sun Belt Conference Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Thursday.
Kim capped off an impressive week at the UNC Greensboro Invitational placing third for her third top five finish of the season. She totaled 3-under par 213, tied for the sixth-lowest 54-hole total in program history. Kim opened the event with a 1-under par 71 and followed it up with a 4-under par 68 for the fifth-lowest 36-hole total in program history of 5-under par 139.
Through six events played, Kim possesses a 71.00 stroke average, tops in program history by nearly two strokes. She has shot par or better in 12 of 18 rounds played with those 12 par or better rounds ranking as the third-most in a single season, five shy of Olivia Schmidt’s record set in the 2021-22 season.
