How many wins will the Arizona football team get in 2025?
Here’s an early game-by-game won-loss prediction for the Wildcats for their 2025 schedule, beginning with that home game against Hawaii and concluding with the Territorial Cup at Arizona State on Nov. 28.
The Wildcats will also host Weber State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, BYU, Kansas and Baylor this season. They will play at Iowa State, Houston, Colorado and Cincinnati, looking to improve on their 4-8 overall record and 2-7 Big 12 record in 2024.

Aug. 30: Hawaii at Arizona
The Wildcats need to win their season opener if they want to have a chance to improve on last season’s win total. Noah Fifita and the offense will find a way to outscore Hawaii in a potential thriller.
Game prediction: Arizona 35, Hawaii 31
Arizona record prediction: 1-0
Sept. 6: Weber State at Arizona
If the Wildcats can’t beat this FCS team that went 4-8 overall last season and 3-5 in the Big Sky Conference, this will end up being a very long season in Tucson.
Game prediction: Arizona 41, Weber State 17
Arizona record prediction: 2-0
Sept. 13: Kansas State at Arizona
This game is against a Big 12 team, but it isn’t a Big 12 Conference game since it was scheduled before Arizona joined the conference. Kansas State is a favorite to win the Big 12 title this season and will be too much for Arizona to handle, giving the Arizona Wildcats their first loss of 2025.
Game prediction: Kansas State 35, Arizona 20
Arizona record prediction: 2-1
Sept. 27: Arizona at Iowa State
Arizona’s Big 12 opener is at Iowa State. Not ideal. The Cyclones have their eyes set on returning to the Big 12 championship game. Arizona’s defense won’t be able to get enough stops to pull off an upset.
Game prediction: Iowa State 30, Arizona 20
Arizona record prediction: 2-2
Oct. 4: Oklahoma State at Arizona
Oklahoma State went 0-9 in Big 12 play last season after starting the year 3-0. We don’t envision that happening in 2025, but a desperate Arizona will pick up its first conference victory of the season in a close one.
Game prediction: Arizona 28, Oklahoma State 27
Arizona record prediction: 3-2
Oct. 11: BYU at Arizona
This game could bring an intense atmosphere to Arizona Stadium. The Cougars have Big 12 title hopes and a very good defense that will stymie Fifita and the Wildcats.
Game prediction: BYU 27, Arizona 14
Arizona record prediction: 3-3
Oct. 18: Arizona at Houston
The Wildcats beat the Cougars last season, 27-3, but that game was in Tucson. Arizona’s schedule gets very difficult after this game, so the Wildcats really need to win this game. We think they could pull out a victory in a thriller on the road.

Arizona record prediction: 4-3
Nov. 1: Arizona at Colorado
Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are gone, but the Buffaloes will probably still be able to put up points this season, especially at home.
Game prediction: Colorado 35, Arizona 21
Arizona record prediction: 4-4
Nov. 8: Kansas at Arizona
The Jayhawks had a rough season in 2024, but ended the season strong with wins over Iowa State, BYU and Colorado in three of their last four games. They should be much improved in 2025.

Arizona record prediction: 4-5
Nov. 15: Arizona at Cincinnati
This game might be the key game on Arizona’s schedule and the one that determines if it beats its 2024 win total in 2025. We’re predicting a breakthrough win for the Wildcats on the road, giving them five wins.
Game prediction: Arizona 24, Cincinnati 21
Arizona record prediction: 5-5
Nov. 22: Baylor at Arizona
Many think that the Bears could challenge for the Big 12 title, and the odds for the conference championship are high on their chances. That might not bode well for the Wildcats.
Game prediction: Baylor 37, Arizona 20
Arizona record prediction: 5-6
Nov. 28: Arizona at Arizona State
It’s the Territorial Cup, so you can throw out odds, records and stats entering this game. That being said, the Sun Devils have a huge advantage in talent and that will be hard for Arizona to overcome.
