Are the Boston Celtics still the favorites to win the 2025 NBA title? The defending champs began the season as the most likely ball club to win it all in the 2025 NBA Playoffs, but there have been some understandable murmurs emanating from the depths of the league’s media sphere as to whether the Celtics can do it again.
When you take into account Boston’s long stretch of uninspired play from Thanksgiving to January, it can be hard not to wonder if bad habits have started to creep back into the Celtics’ identity as a team. And when you look around the league, the field is considerably stronger than it was on the way to Boston hanging Banner 18.
