HIGH POINT, N.C. (WITN) – More North Carolinians plan to shop on Cyber Monday than on Black Friday.
That is from a recently conducted High Point University Poll.
The survey found that 46% said they plan to shop online this coming Monday, while 36% said they plan to shop today.
The results are similar to one conducted this time last year.
Just 16% of North Carolinians plan to do most of their shopping at brick-and-mortar stores, 32% plan to do most of their shopping online, while 40% told pollsters they will shop at both equally.
As far as spending, 29% said they will fork out less this year, 26% said more, and 42% said they will spend about the same as last year.
The poll was conducted from November 14th through the 21st.
