With LeBron James out for the Los Angeles Lakers Saturday night game against the Sacramento Kings, Anthony Davis stepped up big time, recording 36 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists in a 132-122 win.
Davis started hot with 17 points, two assists and eight rebounds in the first half, shooting 7-of-8 from the field. Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura also made big contributions with 26 and 21 points, respectively, in the win.
As the Lakers trailed by one at halftime, 66-65, fans took to social media to praise Davis for his hot start:

Kings are countering by outscoring Lakers 32-22 in paint, and Kings are starting to hit offensive glass.
In the first quarter, Davis was perfect from the field, going 5-for-5, including two big-time baskets in the final three minutes.
Davis and the Lakers improved to 18-13 with their second straight win on Saturday, which came three days after a triumphant Christmas Day clash with the Golden State Warriors.
The Lakers will look to rattle off a third straight win when they host Donovan Mitchell and the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night.
