Free People Movement will open a store near the mall’s courtyard by the end of January.
A new activewear retailer will open this month in Montgomery Village after the shopping center announced several other openings recently.
“We’re thrilled to welcome FP Movement to The Village,” Kris Miller, mall general manager said in a statement. “This is FP Movement’s first location in Santa Rosa and we’re excited to introduce this incredible brand that believes in supporting the fitness, wellness, and happiness goals of their customers, to our community.”
A spokesperson from Montgomery Village confirmed the store will welcome customers starting Jan. 24.
According to FP Movement’s website, the store will be located at 725 Village Court, Suite F16 which is near Mandarin Kitchen and Copperfield’s.
Activewear company Lululemon also has a location at the outdoor mall.
Free People Movement is the activewear line of the popular women’s clothing brand, Free People. The Santa Rosa location will be the company’s second in the North Bay, with its other store located in Napa.
The Free People brand is owned by URBN which owns Urban Outfitters and bohemian clothing line Anthropologie. The Press Democrat contacted URBN’s corporate office, but they did not respond to an immediate request for comment.
Earlier this month, Montgomery Village confirmed fitness studio Club Pilates and Sprinkles cupcakes are among the new stores coming to the shopping center.
It was also announced that Fieldwork Brewing is opening a taproom this summer near SEA Thai Bistro.
In August, Montgomery Village said high-end beauty retailer Bluemercury, facial bar FACE FOUNDRIÉ and fast-casual restaurant Mendocino Farms will open by the end of this year.
In contrast, Penzeys Spices announced their store closing date of Jan. 19.
