Angelina Jolie is a devoted and caring mother. The actress has emphasized the importance of motherhood in her life, often expressing pride in her children and frequently attending events with them, whether on the red carpet or casual shopping outings. Recently, after sharing insights into her children’s disinterest in fame, she was spotted with Knox, her youngest son, who is growing into a striking young man.
Last weekend, Angelina was seen shopping with her 16-year-old son in Los Feliz, California. Although Knox is often spotted accompanying his twin sister, Vivienne, on grocery errands, the actress has recently chosen to join him on these outings.
In front of the cameras, the star of ‘Maria’ and her son appeared completely at ease, with Angelina even offering a subtle smile. As they exited the store with their purchases, they walked calmly to their car, while the teenager pushed a cart filled with items.
For this casual outing, the actress showcased her elegance and style in a timeless look: loose black pants, a white top, and a long camel coat. She completed her ensemble with black suede shoes, a shoulder bag, and dark sunglasses, letting her blonde hair fall naturally.
Conversely, Knox opted for a faded brown t-shirt, black cargo pants, and Nike sneakers. The young man, now taller than his famous mother, sported thick-framed glasses.
Angelina’s routine shopping trips with her children highlight that, beyond the Hollywood spotlight, she is a devoted mother just like any other.
Recently, at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Angelina spoke about her children, acknowledging that she doesn’t believe any of them have a “fondness” for the film industry.
“No, I don’t know, it’s not my fault. I always wanted them to be in the film world because I wanted them to know they are part of a wonderful family, that they can be creative, artists… but they aren’t interested,” the 49-year-old actress stated during a panel, according to People.
During her appearance at the festival, Angelina specifically noted her daughter Shiloh, 18, who decided to drop her father Brad Pitt’s surname in 2024. “They really don’t like anything about being a celebrity—especially Shiloh, who hates it,” she revealed. “I think, in a very healthy way, they don’t like it… It’s not normal. It’s actually silly.”
However, the actress clarified that this doesn’t mean her children are disconnected from the art of filmmaking.
“Yes, they’ve been on set with me,” she explained. “Some dance, some paint, some love theater, but none of them are eager to be on screen,” she added.
Angelina Jolie emphasized that Shiloh, in particular, dislikes the celebrity aspect of their lives.
Last November, during a conversation with Michael Strahan on Good Morning America, Angelina mentioned how much her children value their privacy.
“They are quite reserved. Shiloh is extremely private,” the actress remarked. “They didn’t grow up with privacy, right? So I hope they can have it as they grow up,” she added.
