French Open and Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz will face second seed Alexander Zverev in the group stage at the ATP Finals starting on Sunday in Turin.
They headline the John Newcombe Group, which will also feature Casper Ruud and Andrey Rublev.
World number one Jannik Sinner, meanwhile, will have 2020 champion Daniil Medvedev in his Nastase Group, alongside fifth seed Taylor Fritz and tournament debutant Alex de Minaur.
Defending champion Novak Djokovic has pulled out of the tournament earlier this week due to injury.
The Serbian won a record seventh title at the season-ending event last year by beating Sinner in the final and will miss it for only the second time since making his debut in 2007.
Djokovic’s only previous absence came in 2017 after he cut short his season because of an elbow injury.
At the ATP Finals, each player in a group play the other three in the same group. The top two of each group will advance to semi-finals.
