Alabama football has a date set for its second A-Day game under coach Kalen DeBoer.
The Crimson Tide will take part in its annual scrimmage on Saturday, April 12 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
No time or additional details have yet been announced via the program.
DeBoer is heading into his second season as the coach of Alabama. He went 9-4 in his first season, capped with a loss to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl. The Crimson Tide had ranked wins over Georgia, LSU, South Carolina and Missouri, but Alabama also experienced unranked losses to Vanderbilt, Oklahoma and Michigan.
Three of the four captains from that team, quarterback Jalen Milroe, guard Tyler Booker and safety Malachi Moore, won’t be back in 2025. Each will head to the NFL Draft instead.
Milroe has been the primary starter at quarterback the past two seasons, so A-Day will provide a chance to look at who’s next at quarterback. Ty Simpson, Austin Mack and Keelon Russell are the three scholarship quarterbacks on the roster heading into the spring.
