In 2021, Air France introduced Air France Smart Connect, a booking platform developed by Dohop. This platform allows customers to book both an Air France flight and a Transavia flight in one transaction. Customers using this service benefit from the Dohop guarantee, which provides assistance and alternative travel solutions in case of any irregularities.
Air France is now expanding this service by allowing customers to combine an Air France-operated flight with a train ticket to or from six Swiss cities served by Switzerland’s national railway company, CFF/SBB.
The booking process is straightforward and convenient. Customers can easily access this service on the Air France website by entering their departure point, destination, and travel dates. They are then redirected to the Air France Smart Connect platform, where they can select their flight and train. With a single payment, customers receive both their air ticket and train ticket.

Air France plans to gradually expand its offering by adding more stations in Switzerland and extending this service to customers connecting from another flight at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
