The possibilities for “conversational commerce” are growing as e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, which last year introduced an AI-powered shopping guide called Rufus, seek to personalize experiences for their customers. Bringing consumers into the purchase funnel has been a key goal for retailers that sell advertising, giving marketers a way to raise awareness for their brands among consumers based on their purchase histories and product searches.
