Exporters from the Bukhara region visited Qatar to discuss issues of increasing and diversifying the volume of exports of domestic products to this country.
During the trip, with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, bilateral negotiations were organized between the delegation and the heads of the largest retail chains and importing enterprises in Qatar – Carrefour, LuLu, Ansar Gallery, Monoprix, High Com Global and others.
As part of the negotiations, the Qatari side was presented with information about the export potential of Uzbekistan, the quality of agricultural and food industry products.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached on the delivery in July-August of the first 30-ton batch of fresh and dried fruits and vegetables produced by Milmaxtrade, as well as poultry products to the Qatar market.
